POSITION SUMMARY:

Individual is responsible for review of investor quality control measures including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA as well as correspondent investor requirements. Individual will assist and report directly to Quality Assurance Manager in identification, monitoring, and reporting on both pre-funding and post-funding reviews related to the origination process, underwriting, process review, and documentation requirements per guidelines. Individual will also provide independent confirmation of Policy compliance with 1st Security Bank of Washington’s guidelines.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Conduct Post-Close and Prefunding audit and rebuttal report in a timely manner.

  • Respond to Post-close audit documentation request from Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and third-party vendors in a timely manner.

  • Clear Encompass Mavent Fail and communicate solution to requested party.

  • Review HMDA data for accuracy and send initial and redisclosure as relates to Loan Estimates and TRID.

  • Assist in the update of Disclosures, Post-Closing,  PreFunding, and Pipeline Management policies and procedures.

  • Attend regular meeting, take minute notes, follow-up on meeting request, and report directly to Quality Assurance Manager.

  • Complete required monthly assigned BVS Compliance training courses.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of related experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Prior experience and understanding of Disclosures, Post-Close Audit, Prefunding Audit, HMDA review, and Pipeline Management.

  • Prior experience and understanding of regulations related to Mortgage Quality Controls, including TRID, RESPA, TILA, ECOA, and HMDA.

  • Encompass and ACES software experience preferred.

  • Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision. Attend meeting and take minutes.

  • Ability to communicate across all departments within the organization.

  • Strong analytic skills, attention to detail, and ability to work within time constraints.

  • Excellent level of oral and written communication skills.

  • Intermediate level of computer skills and the ability to function in a windows environment utilizing Outlook, Word and Excel.

 

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced skills in Microsoft Office Products, Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

  • The employee will primarily operate in a general office environment, using office equipment such as a phone and a computer. The employee will also work in various client locations, which could have varying environments.  Extensive travel is required, including overnight travel.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate as compared to a private office with light foot traffic and office equipment.  However, when traveling or at client locations, the employee may be exposed to significant noise, weather, and other discomfort. The employee must be able and willing and able to interact frequently with the general public.
