Job Description

The Rewind Operator completes the label production process by taking large rolls of printed labels and using the rewind machine to unwind, cut and rewind the labels into smaller rolls. This involves setting up the machine according to job specifications and ensuring a high degree of accuracy in the finished product. Once the job is completed, the operator will package and prepare the product for shipping. Between jobs, the rewind operator will change machine configuration and perform basic cleaning and machine maintenance.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Setup, operate and maintain rewind machine
• Quality Control, ensuring rewind tensions, blade alignment, case sealing and box labeling are all according to job specifications
• Use digital label program to print box, core and shipping labels
• Basic troubleshooting and problem solving
