Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated full-time Accounting Specialist to join our team at our San Antonio, TX, location. We are interested in candidates who are looking to work for a company that is passionate about changing lives and helping build the essential workforce!
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Data entry
- Maintaining accurate and complete records
- Monitor that all accounting-related system information is accurate and aligned.
- Processing customer and student complaints
- Completing batch deposits from the Paysimple system
- Creating Excel spreadsheets and reports for the Director of Finance and Payroll
- Assisting with the payroll process.
- Perform other responsibilities and projects as directed by the Director of Finance and Payroll
This role requires the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- Ability to travel onsite to our San Antonio, TX office.
- 1 year of accounting or bookkeeping experience required.
- Payroll experience preferred
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel (V-lookup, pivot tables, formulas, etc.).
- An adept understanding of finance and payroll terminology.
