Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated full-time Accounting Specialist to join our team at our San Antonio, TX, location. We are interested in candidates who are looking to work for a company that is passionate about changing lives and helping build the essential workforce!

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Data entry
  • Maintaining accurate and complete records
  • Monitor that all accounting-related system information is accurate and aligned.
  • Processing customer and student complaints
  • Completing batch deposits from the Paysimple system
  • Creating Excel spreadsheets and reports for the Director of Finance and Payroll
  • Assisting with the payroll process.
  • Perform other responsibilities and projects as directed by the Director of Finance and Payroll

This role requires the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Ability to travel onsite to our San Antonio, TX office. 
  • 1 year of accounting or bookkeeping experience required.
  • Payroll experience preferred
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel (V-lookup, pivot tables, formulas, etc.).
  • An adept understanding of finance and payroll terminology.
