  • Position Location: Baywood - East Mesa Power and Broadway
  • Schedule: 4x10s during the week 7:00a-5:30p
  • Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY

This position assists providers with patient care in a medical office setting by managing triage calls, walk-in triage patients and leading emergency events. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  1. Manage all incoming calls that contain clinical concerns that need to be addressed for the entire organization.
  2. Management of all clinical triage issues of TCC patients that present in the clinic at multiple locations.
  3. Ability to make decisions on adjustment of medications doses and provide clinical care instructions without provider involvement as supported by the established guidelines.
  4. Knowledge and ability to accurately document all interactions and processes completed in the chart.
  5. Required to be BLS and ACLS certified and to respond to, and act as a lead in all levels of emergencies in the office.
  6. Assist in supporting all clinical and non-clinical departments throughout the organization with clinical questions and concerns that are in the scope of practice of an RN and according to the established guidelines.
  7. Responsible for reviewing and managing all cardiac monitoring alerts with the oversight and instruction of the providers.
  8. Responsible for the management and coordination of the Hepatitis B and or TB clinic needs of organizational staff and physicians upon request.
  9. Ability to direct the patient to the appropriate level of medical support needed based on the assessment. Level of medical support may include but not limited to; primary care provider, urgent care facility or emergency care facility.
  10. Ability to manage medication questions or concerns and assist in managing new or existing prescriptions.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

SAFETY-SENSITIVE POSITION

This position is a safety-sensitive position in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes § 23-493 (9). 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications

High school diploma or GED.

Current valid Arizona RN license.

Two years RN experience required.

Cardiology experience required.

Current ACLS certification (must be obtained within 90 days if not current).

Current BLS certification (must be obtained within 90 days if not current) .

Eligibility

All employees must be able to provide proof of their identity and their right to work in the United States.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Patient education and triage experience preferred.
