Kids Worship Director

Next Generation Kids Ministry Mission:

“To form lasting faith by helping kids BELONG to a body of believers so they know that they are loved by God; BELIEVE the gospel and place their faith in Jesus; and BECOME disciples of Jesus by applying the Word of God and walking in Jesus’ ways through the power of the Holy Spirit.”  

Christ Chapel’s Mission:

“To stretch every involved person from the threshold of their spiritual pilgrimage toward becoming a fully-developing follower of Christ” (Col 1:28-29).

Role’s Mission:

The Kids Worship Director partners with Kids Minister – Fort Worth to be the architect, champion and multi-site liaison of the Next Generation Worship program.

1. As Architect, you frequently evaluate the music program, consult with elementary director and implement needed changes.
2. As Implementer, you recruit, train, develop and oversee an effective team of front-line volunteer musicians to execute a safe, fun and evangelistic kids program. 
3. As Champion, you inspire, recruit and care for your volunteers.
4. As Multisite Liaison, you team with the volunteer worship directors at our multi-site(s) to share ideas, collaborate and maintain consistency between campuses.

Role’s Relationship:

The Kids Worship Director reports directly to Kids Minister – Fort Worth.

Role Details: 

Part-Time | Hourly | 20 hours per week

Role’s Requirements:

• Born again Christian
• Agreement with Christ Chapel’s statement of faith
• Ability to work well with adults
• Love for children
• Conscientious, consistent, dependable, strong administration gifting is a must
• Can play an instrument(s) and knows how to read music and a chord chart
