Title: Nurturing/Marketing Automation Strategist

(Salary range: $65,000 - $70,000/annually)

 

Position Summary:

As the Marketing Automation Strategist, you will be responsible for developing, managing, executing, and analyzing robust post-inquiry nurturing and remarketing automations for our clients. EducationDynamics’ automated marketing and nurturing services deliver fully customized communication plans covering key stages of the student lifecycle—from initial inquiry through enrollment. These campaigns are built using marketing automation software and leverage multiple channels, including SMS, email, ringless voicemail, and paid social, to engage prospective students.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and manage lead nurturing strategies using marketing automation software and a variety of channels, including email, SMS, ringless voicemail, and social media.
  • Configure and set up complex automated workflows within marketing automation platforms.
  • Coordinate and manage creative development for nurturing campaigns (e.g., emails, SMS copy, social ads, etc.).
  • Create audience-segmented lists and schedule one-off email deployments.
  • Monitor integrations to ensure data exchanges are functioning properly, and work with IT to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Management and the Director of Lead Nurturing to conceptualize, execute, and report on campaign strategy and effectiveness.
  • Participate in client calls as needed to discuss account performance, interpret data, and present actionable recommendations.
  • Test and optimize campaigns continuously by running A/B tests, monitoring KPIs, and adjusting creative, messaging, and workflows based on results.
  • Stay current on marketing automation trends and emerging technologies to recommend new tools, features, or strategies.
  • Identify and present new opportunities for clients to enhance their lead nurturing efforts.
  • Work cross-channel with other teams to provide clients with a holistic view of their digital footprint and how each channel interacts.

Educational Requirements and Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field of study

 

Other Skills

  • Proficient in setting up and leveraging email marketing automation platforms (Activecampaign, SalesForce, Hubspot, etc)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and how they integrate with marketing automation platforms.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, HTML/CSS, and A/B testing 
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of email regulations, best practices, and compliance.
  • Understanding of the Higher Education and Post-Secondary Education sector
