Accounts Payable Coordinator
Erickson Immigration Group has a career opportunity for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team in our headquarters office located in Arlington, VA. This is an on-site position, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule after a probationary period. The salary range for this role is $55,000- $60,000 per year.
The Accounts Payable Coordinator reports to the Finance Manager and is responsible for processing vendor payables in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment. Other finance or accounting responsibilities will be assigned on an as-needed basis. Must be detail-oriented, a self-starter, and a team player.
Primary Responsibilities
- Review and process a significant volume of check requests
- Process invoices into the accounting system, ensuring proper coding and routing for internal approvals
- Correspond with vendors, respond to inquiries, and ensure accounts are up to date
- Maintain positive and productive relationships with vendors and valued business partners
- Resolve any invoice discrepancies
- Assist with accounting department correspondence for internal/external purposes.
- Produce regularly scheduled accounting reports using Excel spreadsheets, Sage Intacct®, or other business intelligence software, as required
- Assist in month-end closing and other research and reporting
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of professional work experience in accounts payable in a high-volume environment
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel
- Experience with Sage Intacct, Bill.com and Navan preferred
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Discretionary judgment and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adhere to the company’s confidentiality policies
