Material Handling Supervisor

Shift: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM

  We are looking for you to:

• Manage a team of Material Handlers
• Interview, hire, and train employees
• Oversee the daily workflow and schedule assignments
• Operate forklifts and move goods and materials around warehouses and other industrial sites
• Operate machinery including Forklifts and Tuggers
• Ensure aisles remain clear by cleaning and sweeping the floor and removing empty pallets, loose cardboard boxes, and various types of debris. 
• Empty waste and recycled bins
• Assist with production line as needed. 
• Assist with janitorial cleaning responsibilities such as, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, and dusting. 
• Loading and unloading materials from various vehicles
• Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance
• Following written instructions and keeping records
• Adhering to health and safety regulations

You will have:

• 2-5 years of supervisory experience in the warehouse industry
• Experience managing warehouse or manufacturing operations
• Proven experience motivating and training staff
• Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines; self-directed
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and achieve effective time management
• Strong service/quality mindset
• Professionalism
• Proven computer skills
