Position: Software Engineer I or II
Location: Grand Rapids + Up To 40% Travel

TGW Logistics is hiring a Software Engineer (Level I or II) who is willing to travel to join our innovative and collaborative team. This is a unique opportunity to gain real world global experience developing cutting-edge automation software that powers supply chains.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work side-by-side with experienced developers and subject matter experts to create robust, high-quality solutions.
  • Write clean, functional code in C# and Java.
  • Test and validate software through unit, integration, and emulation testing.
  • Travel to customer sites for hands-on software commissioning and provide post-implementation support.
  • Collaborate across departments and learn from industry leaders in automation and logistics tech.

Requirements/Non-Negotiables:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • Minimum one year  of professional experience on a software development team OR a year-long internship in a similar role.
  • A strong foundation in object-oriented programming, IDEs (Visual Studio, Eclipse, etc.), and interest in agile methodologies.
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to travel and tackle new challenges with a curious mindset.
