About the Role
Â
TV Production interns will:
Â
- Join producers on field shoots, act as production assistants on location, generating, organizing, and gathering release forms, among other things
- Assist in logging and transcribing footage
- Support the producers as they research, shoot and edit segments for the monthly broadcast and the website.
- Support studio shoots by running teleprompter, welcoming guests, and acting as the production assistants
- Have the opportunity to pitch stories for shows currently in production.Â
- Write copy

TV Production interns will learn:
Â
- All aspects of television production including pre-production, production, and post-production
- How to research and develop interview questions
- How to summarize the content in short concise paragraphs
- The organizing and structuring of each program and how to offline edit
- Professional etiquette when going on shoots.
