Senior Retail Media Manager - Amazon and Marketplaces

 

Location: Remote, work from home (US-based)

     

Acadia is an industry leader in the e-commerce digital marketing space, managing the presence of brands and manufacturers on all major Amazon markets, Walmart.com, Instacart, Target, Kroger and Chewy.

As Senior Retail Paid Media Manager you will be vital in continuing our efforts as an industry leader by creating best-in-class advertising strategies for brands on retail marketplaces while working with a team of Paid Media Specialists to drive profitable sales growth for our clients.

This role is one that is challenging and rewarding as you develop your paid search and programmatic display skills and stay up to date with new paid search features, leveraging Acadia’s industry leading position within the space. The successful candidate has an opportunity to develop an exciting career in a dynamic, growing digital marketing company.


This position reports to a Team Lead.

 

Media Strategy:

- Manage large complex accounts with +$2M in annual spend

- Build holistic strategy across channels, ad types and brand goals, factoring in key company financial metrics

- Demonstrate capability leveraging insights from AMC to inform retail strategy

- Develop QBRs to drive continued account growth

 

Client Relationships:

- Demonstrate curiosity, asking business questions to understand brand goals, KPIs, and financial structures that inform - spend allocations in retail media

- Effectively communicate campaign vision & strategy connecting them to overall performance

- Develop rapport with client to set a foundation of trust in recommendations

 

Team:

- Effectively delegate tactical campaign mgmt to specialists within your pod

- Collaborate overall acct strategy with Account Managers and other stakeholders

- Communicate campaign strategy, performance and next steps to the Account Manager, positioning them as a media voice for the clients as well

- Support the development of pod team members through coaching and mapping of professional development paths as well as QA of assigned accounts

- Project manage execution and ongoing maintenance of your strategy using Asana 

 

Retail Media Growth

- Contribute to overall growth of Acadia Retail Media practice through development of new programs and/or services (ie channel expansion)

- Evaluate channel beta programs to inform Retail Media practice process changes as well as thought leadership

- Support new business with development of brand media strategy

- Contribute to thought leadership, internal process development and ad hoc team training as appropriate

Qualifications

Candidates should possess

  • 3+ years of experience with Pay Per Click advertising (Amazon Advertising, Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads)

  • 2+ years of experience with Amazon Advertising

  • Fully certified in Amazon & Walmart & Instacart ads, inclusive of DSP 

  • Experience with Amazon AMC

  • 2+ years of experience working on Walmart, Target or Instacart ads preferred 

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Ability to work well independently and be self-motivated

  • Excellent analytical, oral and written communication

  • Attention to detail while also having the ability to handle multiple priorities

Our interview process consists of 3 virtual interviews and a brief technical assessment for successful candidates. We will also ask candidates for 2-3 professional references from past employers when making our offer.
