Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

Support physicians and nurses in daily operations.

Serve as a scribe to document patient reports.

Welcome and guide patients through their visits.

Record vital signs and collect lab samples.

Gather and update medical and medication history.

Ensure supplies are stocked and equipment is cleaned.

Maintain a sterile and organized pre- and post-op environment.

Assist patients with scheduling follow-up appointments.

Build and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians, staff, and management.

Uphold professionalism in all patient and healthcare interactions.

Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations for office visits and ultrasounds.

Handle incoming calls and schedule patient referrals.

Perform additional tasks as needed.
