Seasonal Breakfast Server – Garden Grille @ Hilton Garden Inn Virginia Beach Oceanfront

πŸŒ… Start your mornings with a view! Join our breakfast team at the Garden Grille, located inside the Hilton Garden Inn right on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. We’re hiring Seasonal Breakfast Servers who bring warmth, energy, and exceptional service to help guests start their day right.


Position Type:

Seasonal / Part-Time – Shifts begin as early as 6:30 AM and include weekends and holidays - out by noon to enjoy the day!


About the Role – Breakfast Server

As a Breakfast Server, you’ll provide efficient and friendly service to hotel guests enjoying our buffet and Γ  la carte breakfast options. This role requires early risers with attention to detail, strong multitasking skills, and a passion for hospitality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and explain buffet and menu options

  • Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently

  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned tables and service areas

  • Restock beverages, coffee stations, and condiments as needed

  • Work closely with kitchen and front desk teams for smooth service flow

  • Process guest checks and handle payment transactions accurately

  • Follow food safety and hotel brand service standards at all times

As a Breakfast Server, you’ll provide efficient and friendly service to hotel guests enjoying our buffet and Γ  la carte breakfast. This position is perfect for early risers who love fast-paced service and engaging with guests from around the world.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude

  • Explain menu and buffet offerings clearly and professionally

  • Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and promptly

  • Maintain clean and organized tables, stations, and service areas

  • Assist with restocking condiments, beverages, and breakfast items

  • Handle payment transactions through our POS system

  • Work closely with the kitchen and front desk to ensure smooth guest flow

  • Follow all food safety, cleanliness, and Hilton brand service standards


Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a server or in a customer-facing hospitality role preferred

  • Ability to handle multiple tables and remain calm under pressure

  • Clear and courteous communication with guests and teammates

  • Must be comfortable working early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays

  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods, lift trays, and bend/reach as needed

  • Dependable, professional, and committed to guest satisfaction

  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
