Shamin hotels is Virginia’s largest hotel management company owning and operating over 68 hotels and we are continuing to grow! As one of our payroll clerks, you will ensure that all hotel accounting functions are performed accurately and on a timely basis.
- Ensure Payroll files are received timely from hotels
- Verify accuracy using payroll reports
- Audit timecards for check discrepancies or updates
- Process bi-weekly Payroll files and cut checks timely with accuracy
- Calculate and Remit Payroll Taxes/Garnishments/Child Supports/Tax Liens, all on a timely manner
- Process and cut off cycle payroll checks timely with accuracy
- Process month-end GL Reports on a timely manner with accuracy
- Complete Quarterly Payroll Tax Reports
- Reconcile Payroll Income Statements
- Perform Ad Hoc projects as needed by the business
