The Registered Nurse (RN) is part of a team concept in the clinic setting with the goal of providing primary care with an emphasis on disease prevention and health maintenance. The RN is responsible for assessing, implementing, coordinating, delegating, and evaluating the care of clinic patients. RNs should have a caring, sympathetic nature and the ability to relate to the public regardless of ethnic, religious or economic status. They also should have keen observational, decision making, and communication skills.
What You'll Do:
- Aware of patient treatment needs and able to correlate physicians orders to diagnosis.Â
- Knowledgeable of laboratory work-up and values related to diagnosis.
- Demonstrates a commitment to patient centered care.
- Anticipates potential problems and adapts to Clinic changes.
- Accurately documents symptoms/complaints, nursing assessment, advice provided, and patient/caller response.
- Documents patient care on clinical records.

Qualifications:
- State of California Registered Nurse license required.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS required.
- One year experience in Family Practice preferred.
Job Information:
- Per-diem, day shifts including weekends.
- Starting wage $55.68 to $67.49 based on qualifications.
