Thorough knowledge of accounting processes and procedures
Understanding of U.S. GAAP and cash basis and accrual basis accounting
Hands-on experience with accounting software, Entrata and/or Yardi experience is preferred.
Ability to function at a high level in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
Ability to communicate well with business partners at all levels within and outside the company
Time management skills are essential to the position

Education:
Two years of experience as an Accountant, AA or BS in Accounting/Finance considered in lieu of experience.
