Travel: You will be required to use your own vehicle to travel throughout the Bristol Hospice service area (mileage reimbursement applies).

Qualifications, Duties, and Perks

On an Average Day You Will: 
(includes not limited to) 

  • Lead and oversee daily sales and marketing operations to drive strategic growth and brand visibility.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with referral partners, payers, and community stakeholders to expand awareness of our mission.

  • Conduct market assessments and implement targeted marketing plans aligned with budgetary and volume goals.

  • Negotiate service contracts with managed care organizations, government agencies, and other key payers.

  • Partner with the Executive Director to shape budget forecasts and ensure resource allocation supports agency growth.

  • Hire, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

  • Monitor marketing performance metrics, community perception, and ROI to ensure meaningful impact and sustainability.

  • Collaborate with the Regional Director of Community Development on performance strategies, HR processes, and compensation planning.

 

Ideal Candidate Meets the Following Requirements:

Ideal Candidate Meets the Following Requirements: 

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a hospice setting strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of the hospice philosophy and care model
  • Proven ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
  • Skilled in developing and maintaining referral sources to drive company growth
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills, both in group settings and one-on-one
  • Demonstrated strengths in negotiation, public relations, and problem solving
  • Experience supervising and guiding professional and administrative personnel
  • Ability to lead with confidence, professionalism, and tact in customer and community interactions
  • Highly organized, assertive, flexible, and collaborative in performing daily responsibilities
