Digital & Social Media Strategy

Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with organizational and location-specific marketing objectives

Create original, platform-specific content—graphics, copy, video—that reflects Bristol Hospice’s brand voice

Curate user-generated content and success stories from 60+ sites nationwide
Community & Channel Management
-
Manage corporate channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X); respond to messages and moderate engagement
-
Support and align local site social accounts with corporate branding and messaging

Photograph and film site visits and events for social and web content
Website & CMS Oversight
-
Build and maintain Bristol Hospice’s website (e.g. WordPress) ensuring content is accurate, brand-compliant, SEO-optimized, mobile-responsive, and accessible

Work with stakeholders to launch new pages or microsites for campaigns and initiatives
-
Audit website regularly for performance, UX, and content relevance
Campaign Execution & Collaboration

Partner with PR, HR, Talent Acquisition, Clinical Operations, and Community Development to amplify messaging via digital channels

Support paid social strategies with the marketing/design team
-
Oversee YouTube channel branding, uploads, and classification
Performance & Reporting

Track social and web KPIs; deliver monthly/quarterly analytics and recommendations

Monitor digital trends, algorithm changes, and privacy regulations

Use platforms like Sprout Social or Reputation.com for scheduling and reporting

Maintain centralized asset libraries, templates, brand guidelines, hashtags, and career page content

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years in social media/digital content required.
- Website design, development, and management experience required.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; WordPress, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite experience required.
- Paid social, SEO strategy, and working within regulated industries with strict brand compliance.
- Must meet state and federal requirements for the position.
- Willing to travel 25%–50%, including overnight stays.

Knowledge and Skills needed to be successful in role:Â
- Must demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and Power Point
- Build, manage, and maintain Bristol Hospice’s website using a content management system (e.g., WordPress).
- Ensure all web content is accurate, on-brand, and optimized for performance (SEO, mobile responsiveness, accessibility).
- Partner with internal stakeholders to launch new pages or microsites for campaigns, initiatives, or location-specific content.
- Regularly audit the website to ensure functionality, user experience, and content freshness.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling ability. • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media content calendar aligned with corporate and site-specific marketing goals.
