Position Overview:
In partnership with the Vice President of Product Development – Girls Toys, this position is responsible for leading the creation and execution of product strategies from concept to launch, managing the entire product lifecycle and ensuring products align with business goals and customer needs. Key responsibilities include market trend analysis, idea generation, managing cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales), overseeing product roadmaps and budgets, and fostering innovation to bring successful products to market.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Strategy & Vision
Develop and implement product development policies, objectives, and strategies aligned with overall company goals.
Innovation
Spearhead research for new products, product enhancements, and rebrands, identifying opportunities and translating them into viable concepts.
Product Lifecycle Management
Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from idea generation and prototyping to testing and successful market launch.
Team Leadership.
Lead and manage product development team members, motivating them and guiding efforts to achieve product objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with various departments, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, finance, and operations, to realize product goals.
Market & Customer Focus
Conduct market analysis to understand customer needs and identify opportunities for new products and upgrades.
Budget & Resource Management
Allocate resources (personnel, materials, equipment) and manage budgets to ensure financial efficiency and effective execution of development plans.
Project Management.
Establish clear priorities, set realistic timelines, monitor progress, and ensure products are delivered on time and within budget.
