Summary:
The IT Technical Support Representative identifies, investigates, and resolves Information Technology and supports Infrastructure issues impacting company employees. The IT Technical Support Representative works on the analysis and resolution of end user issues reported via trouble tickets, including troubleshooting problems with computer hardware, software, connectivity, printing, and similar concerns. The IT Technical Support Representative is also responsible for provisioning and configuring equipment, maintaining records of end user interactions in the ticketing platform, and collaborating with others to improve the company’s system requirements.
What You’ll Do:
- Identifies, investigates, and resolves users’ problems with computer software and hardware.
- Fields support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from users with inquiries regarding software installation, connectivity, printing, and similar concerns utilizing the company ticketing platform.
- Collaborates with other staff to research and resolve Information Security and Infrastructure problems.
- Monitors and maintains the company’s Microsoft 365 Email, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams systems; performs quality and spot checks of system performance.
- Maintains the company electronic asset inventory.
- Performs Information Technology onboarding tasks such as provisioning end user accounts and assigning proper access in Okta, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, etc. for staff joining the company or changing roles.
- Orders, configures, and delivers equipment used by staff joining the company as part of the onboarding process including laptops, access cards, monitors, keyboards, etc.
- Disables user accounts, removes physical and logical access, and collects equipment as part of the offboarding process of terminated or departing staff.
- Operates & Maintains Abacode’s headquarters and cloud network infrastructure.
- Operates & Maintains Abacode’s internal and CARL related on-premise assets.
- Monitors and perform system upgrades for Firewalls, VM, and end user equipment.
- Receives and performs root cause analysis on escalations from the SOC
- Arrange service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products.
- Maintains knowledge of technological innovations and trends.
- Conduct research on new tools or services as requested by leadership.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

- Ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical employees.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn an array of computer hardware and software.
