SECURITY SERVICE MANAGER

Position Summary

The Service and Installation Manager is our partner in delivering the best possible solution to our customers. They own the work they do and leverage their knowledge of our services to ensure that the job is done right the first time. They have an attention to detail to guarantee that all site protocols and safety standards are followed and can deal with the growing demand for our services.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

Manager a team of technicians on Installations, programming, troubleshooting and maintenance of access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection systems.

Provide field customer service.

Must understand cable pathway systems (cable trays, cable racks, J-hooks or D-rings).

Ensure compliance with all State and Federal regulations as applicable to service, installation, and maintenance of security systems and OSHA safety standards.

Read and comprehend blueprints, project instructions, and company forms and give direction.

Attend clients’ sites to review and price Security Systems.

Document and maintain accurate records of all work performed on a site and submit reports at the end of the work day as required

Work with the manufacturer to ensure the best camera sight lines, cameras are correctly focused and set up on a site

Knowledgeable and adheres to all company policies, procedures, protocols and Health and Safety requirements

Equipment Management/Maintenance

Ensure sufficient equipment is in the vehicle in order to complete assigned daily tasks as well as carry out any other maintenance or repair issues that arise while on a site.

People Management

Provide direction, training, guidance and support to new and existing Service and Installation Technicians

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in a technology related field with an emphasis on computer/IT skills.

4 + Years Management experience conducting crews that included 3 persons or more.

5+ years previous experience as a Access Control / CCTV installer

Completion of a security manufacturers certified training program

Must be able to pass a drug and background check.

Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with internal and external parties

The ability to troubleshoot CCTV analog/IP systems.

The ability to work independently and to prepare all necessary documentation in a timely and accurate manner

Ability to prioritize, take direction and delegate in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)

A good knowledge and adherence to site protocols and Health and Safety policies and practices

Self-motivated and committed to continuous learning

Ability to work effectively independently

Flexibility to work beyond regular working hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. as well as at least one weekend per month, depending on customer commitments
