Project Engineer

Endera was founded with the purpose of making high quality commercial electric fleet vehicles in 2019. Creating the Endera line of all-electric vehicles stems from a belief that our world deserves better. Our founders set out on a mission to build an all-electric commercial vehicle that is dependable, technologically advanced, cost effective, and energy efficient. General Responsibilities: 

• Direct and manage multiple concurrent engineering projects while ensuring their success in meeting their respective objectives. 

• Implement approved engineering budgets and monitor actual expenses to ensure they fall within budgets, analyzing out of budget expenses and ensuring they are offset in other areas of the project unless fully justified. 

• Consult or negotiate with clients to finalize engineering project specifications. 

• Present engineering plans, progress status updates and situations to project stakeholders and financiers. 

• Review and approve proposed engineering designs and subsequent product and process enhancements or changes. 

• Knowledge of FMVSS and State School Bus Requirements. 

• Understanding of Manufacturing Processes.

• Long and varied hours required occasionally. 

• Exposure to fumes, chemicals, and toxic items that require training for haz-mat.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance. The employee will frequently lift and/or move 20-25 pounds and may be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. 

Qualifications: 

• Must have excellent organization. 

• Must have proven multitasking skills and can work under extreme pressure. 

• Must have excellent analytical and computational skills. 

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Solidworks and other CAD systems. 

Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 

• 3-5 years of experience in the pertinent engineering field is an advantage 

• FEA experience preferred
