General Responsibilities:

  • Lead all procurement and purchasing operations across Endera Motors manufacturing facility.
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing and supplier management strategies to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Drive material forecasting and demand planning that align with production schedules and sales forecasts.
  • Analyze market trends, commodity pricing, and supplier performance to identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.
  • Manage and mentor a team of buyers and supply chain specialists, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence.
  • Oversee vendor negotiations, contracts, and cost modeling to ensure competitive pricing and sustainable partnerships.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on procurement performance, including lead time, cost savings, and supplier reliability.
  • Partner with engineering and quality teams to vet new suppliers and materials in support of product improvements.
  • Collaborate with Finance to support budgeting, cost analysis, and working capital optimization.
  • Implement procurement best practices and ERP (INFOR) enhancements to streamline purchasing workflows and reporting.
  • Support executive leadership in developing the long-term supply chain strategy to align with Endera’s growth and electrification roadmap.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications 

  • A bachelor’s degree in purchasing & supply chain management, procurement, logistics, or a related field is a prerequisite.
  • (CIP) Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) or the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) preferred
  • Knowledge of office applications is a mandatory requirement.


Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar role is often a requirement – preferably within the automotive, EV, or transportation industry.
  • Proven experience in interaction with different distributors/ suppliers is a requirement.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and cost control.
  • Experience leading teams in a manufacturing or production environment with an emphasis on high-mix, low-volume assembly.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, procurement software, and Excel-based cost modeling.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust with suppliers and internal teams alike.
