Working Conditions
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop and turn for a minimum of 10 hours daily.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and carry for a minimum of 20 feet.
- Must be able to work both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
- Must wear steel-toed shoes.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Must be able to read, write and follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must be able to hear and discern by sound any equipment malfunctions.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurance through the company.
- Must be able to work professionally as part of a team with other employees.
- Must be able to comprehend and perform duties using established work and safety procedures.
- Must be able to perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workloads.
Education and Work Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in physical plant maintenance is required.
- Training and experience in mechanical, electrical and general plumbing is required.
