Description

Prepare, serve and charge members for food and drinks at the snack bar.

Job Tasks (Additional Responsibilities)

  1. Ensures the highest quality of service as meets expectations of Club members.
  2. Performs all work in accordance with essential functions and responsibilities as described below and in the spirit of the Club's mission and vision.
  3. Responsibilities: Duties shall include but not be limited to: Performs simple food preparation and serves food and drinks at the Club's Snack Bar.
  4. Facilitates a friendly, hospitable environment on the turn.
  5. Ensures quality of product and service with intent to provide the highest level of member and guest satisfaction, anticipating their wants and need.s
  6. Learns and remembers members' names and preferences.
  7. Stays familiar with, and accurately describes menu items and their preparation.
  8. Ensures accuracy of orders and that they meet NGC quality standards.
  9. Performs Snack Bar opening and closing procedures.
  10. Processes sales through the Point of Sale system. Completes transactions and closing paperwork accurately and timely.
  11. Ensures chit charges are accurate and settled to the correct account.
  12. Addresses members' concerns immediately and to their satisfaction.
  13. Communicates any problems and potential issues to management.
  14. Organizes snack bar inventory and helps maintain par levels.
  15. Requisitions items as needed and notifies the Executive Chef of expected shortages in a timely manner.
  16. Ensures sanitation standards are met in the Snack Bar area.
  17. Observes food serve safe practices and all general Club safety protocols.
  18. Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
