What You’ll Do:

The On-Ramp Resource Center Supervisor plays a pivotal role in the efficient functioning of The Relatives On Ramp Resource Center, a welcoming drop-in facility that caters to the diverse needs of young adults between the ages of 16 and 24. Operating on weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm, this center serves as a crucial hub addressing a range of concerns, including housing, education, employment, health, safety, and community integration. This position is integral for extracting and analyzing data about the organization's programming results and ensuring that the program meets all targets and goals. Lastly, this position will ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. 

 

As a central figure in this environment, the Resource Center Supervisor supervises several positions: Youth Engagement Specialists, Youth Engagement Navigator, Intake Specialist, Employment Readiness Specialist, and the Transition Specialist – Outreach (TSO).  This position also establishes vital connections with program participants. The Resource Center Supervisor ensures seamless operations, fostering an environment of empowerment, growth, and assistance.  In this role, you'll need to have the ability to meet face-to-face with homeless individuals of diverse backgrounds and disabilities, including physical, mental, substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, etc.; able to develop rapport, provide information, and refer with sensitivity to cultural issues. You'll also need to be able to multi-task and remain calm in demanding and unpredictable situations. This position serves on The Relatives Management Team.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE  

  • Bachelor’s degree with two years experience in the human service field.
  • Experience with young adults is preferred. 
  • Supervisory Experience preferred.  A long history of supervisory experience in a human services agency may be acceptable in lieu of educational requirements.
  • Valid NC or SC Driver's license.
