Position Overview:
The Production Equipment Technician specializes in and is responsible for maintenance, repair, trouble shooting, and commissioning of production equipment, including but not limited to Gas Dehydration Units, VRU, Combustor, BMS equipment, Heater Treaters, Thief Hatch, and Tank repairs. Responsible for assessing equipment needs, identifying suppliers, and ensuring proper and timely installation and maintenance of equipment. Required to provide training to Field Service Technicians as needed. Rotational Scheduling required. No relocation offered for this position.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assess equipment needs of an organization.
- Ensure the timely delivery and installation of equipment and oversee the development of any necessary infrastructure.
- Maintain customer relationships and manage ongoing maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Ensure adherence to all safety and regulatory requirements related to equipment operation and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, and repair history for reporting and auditing purposes.
- Provide training on equipment operation and maintenance to other technician team members and customers as required.
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it meets safety standards.
- Document and report equipment issues, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions.
