* Minimum age requirement of 18.
* Completion of recognized Nurse Assistant certification program and Certified with the Arizona State Board of Nursing
* Minimum of one-year direct patient care experience in an institutional or home care setting required. Hospice experience preferred.
* Skilled in the proper technique for lifting and transferring patients.
* Ability to read, write and follow instructions and document care given.
* Understands Hospice philosophy and needs of terminally ill.
* Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices.
* Demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene.
* Excellent observation and communication skills.
* Ability to work within an interdisciplinary setting
Valid driver's license with maintenance of a good driving record and reliable transportation that is insured in accordance with state and/or the agency's requirements and is in good working order.
