Description

This position is responsible for supporting our Sales, Underwriting, and Operations staff in the calculation of all Self-Employed, Rental, and all types of Variable and Fluctuating Income.  The primary focus is providing a firm income figure to be used for qualifying purposes.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain the Self-Employed Income Dashboard which includes calculating Income for all self-employed borrowers:  Schedule C, Partnerships, S Corps, Corporations and Rental Income
  • Reviewing of P & L and Balance Sheets
  • Maintain the Income Dashboard which includes calculating Income for all commissions, bonuses, and any source of variable or fluctuating income.
  • Responsible for ensuring the calculation of stable and predictable income.
  • Responsible for review, analysis and certification of Self Employed, Rental, Fluctuating and Variable income of all types for all Agencies offered by UHM
  • Remain responsible for staying up to date on all Agency guidelines and applying guidelines to income scenarios.
  • Maintain a 24 – 48 hour turn time on completion of income analysis.
  • Use of IncomeGenius for all Self- Employed Income calculations

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with FHA, VA, Conventional, USDA Income guidelines
  • Have knowledge in calculation of Self-Employment Income
  • General understanding of Agency guidelines pertaining to Self – Employed income analysis
  • General understanding of Agency guidelines pertaining to Rental Income
  • Experience in computing income for FHA, VA, Conventional and USDA.
  • General understanding of Agency guidelines pertaining to fluctuating/variable income. 
  • Ability to make a final decision on income with a reasonable explanation.
  • Must be able to recognize and communicate needed information to determine firm income.
  • Ability to work with co-workers assisting and sharing knowledge.
