Description

The Processor will analyze and prepare applications to validate that all loans have the necessary documentation, correct data, and complete accuracy for dispositions by the underwriting department. This candidate will be provided 1-2 weeks of training with the training department.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather information and take each file from pre-approval to closing.
  • Input proper loan information into the system for processing.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all loan documentation is complete, accurate, verified, and complies with company policy.
  • Review file documentation and make sure all items needed are requested.
  • Verify loan documents, including income bank statements, credit reports, tax transcripts, verification of employment, purchase agreements, etc.
  • Prepares application for submittal to underwriting.
  • Work on conditions for loans that come out of underwriting
  • Maintains an active pipeline of 45-50 loans
  • Meet crucial deadlines requested
  • Weekly status meetings with loan officers
  • Disclosing any change of circumstances within compliance guidelines

Qualifications

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Ability to self-manage in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Detail Oriented
  • Proficient computer skills

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Two years processing experience with Govt., Conv., & DU/LP
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with the Housing Finance Agency
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Encompass experience a plus
