Position Summary

The role of the Distribution Tech I reports to the Materials Manager. This position is responsible for receiving and distributing supplies throughout the organization.

 

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Maintain an effective and organized storeroom
  • Ensure inventory in Omnicell is maintained
  • Receive, sort, and distribute parts, equipment, and materials to the appropriate designation
  • Clean and maintain supplies, equipment, and storeroom
  • Assist with maintaining appropriate documentation
  • Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients

 

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED
  • Licensure and Certifications: N/A
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hospital receiving department, preferred.

Work Environment: This position will spend approximately 80% of the time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs and 20% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment.
