The Accounting Manager is responsible, on a daily basis, for ensuring the smooth operation of assigned duties at the corporate accounting office. The Accounting Manager is a member of the corporate administrative team, which includes accounting, payroll, fleet, and administrative services. The administrative team works together to provide high quality and timely support for the work of the entire organization. The Accounting Manager role requires strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with solid attention to detail and accuracy. This role is one of a management position, overseeing the accounting team members assigned. The role also requires flexibility and adaptability; as Go Rentals grows, so will the requirements of the role.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Morning Settlement / Bank Feeds / Cash Report

• Process Airport/FBO, Employee, Partner Commissions

• Prepare Rent Payment list for A/P A/R to process

• Oversee Chargebacks & make adjustments to chargeback losses

• Reconcile Suspense account, Security Deposit Account, Balance Offset Account, Revenue Split Account, Cash Account

• Sales Tax for all states

• Accounts Receivable/Direct Bill

• Leasing Contract Management & Airport/FBO Contract Management

• Expenses Audit

• Audit Manager’s AMEX statements

• Bank Reconciliation

• Managing Fleet Finances – Additions, Sales, Payoffs, Statement Auditing, Fleet Posting, Fleet Reconciliation, Rebates

• Managing Tolls/Tickets

• Clear Stale Checks

• Review Accounts Payable & Resolve any issues

• Audit Check Scans

• Audit direct bill contracts to make sure properly closed, contract adjustments, resolve any contract issues

• Manage, support and train staff

• General Accounting Support

• Accounting and Fleet projects as assigned
