Mirador is currently seeking a Healthcare Sales Counselor. This position will play a key role in efforts to cultivate, nurture, and close prospects for our assisted living, memory support, and long-term skilled nursing areas in a manner that bolsters our reputation in the community. Connecting seniors to the solutions at Mirador is a highly relational process that requires a love for people and a heart to serve. This role provides an opportunity to become a part of the Mirador community leadership team and make a difference in the lives of seniors. 

The job responsibilities include targeted outreach to individual prospects, general community outreach, planning and conducting marketing events, education of prospects regarding senior living options, careful follow-up with prospects, and detailed recordkeeping of marketing activities. With outstanding training and support from MRC's corporate marketing team, this position will also oversee move-ins, to ensure they occur seamlessly and provide the new resident with the best possible experience upon arrival at the community.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate has a demonstrated track record of success in sales. 
  • Prior experience in the healthcare or senior living industries is preferred, but not required. 
  • Knowledge of the unique needs of seniors is a plus. 
  • Good computer skills. 
  • Ability to easily establish rapport with others. 
  • Alignment with MRC's mission is paramount.
