MRC’s Stevenson Oaks community is the newest senior living choice in Fort Worth with 172 independent living apartments, 40 assisted living units and 24 memory support suites offering an array of services, with a firm belief that growth is constant. We are currently seeking a Chaplain to:

  • Make visits to residents who call Stevenson Oaks home and residents during hospitalization and follow-up care.
  • Attend and support families during funeral/ memorial services.
  • Provide spiritual care to residents of all faiths with sensitivity and respect for all faith traditions, with the goal of enabling residents to utilize their own faith as a resource for health and healing.
  • Utilize resources of local congregations to assist in meeting the spiritual needs of residents, families and staff at Stevenson Oaks.
  • Schedule and coordinate worship services in the community Chapel and conduct worship services as needed.

Qualifications

Training and Experience

  • Three years’ experience in a field related to Chaplaincy, Practical Ministry and/or Pastoral Care.

Job Knowledge

  • Considerable knowledge of computer use, including e-mail, word processing and spreadsheet programs, and ability to learn relevant facility software.
  • Knowledgeable of Pastoral Care and Services as they relate to a non-profit, church-related institution.
