Position Summary:
The Website and Intranet Administrator / Network Monitoring Support Specialist is responsible for managing the district’s digital platforms and supporting network operations team across all schools. This position ensures the district’s public website and internal intranet are accurate, secure, and user-friendly, while assisting with network monitoring and connectivity to maintain reliable access to instructional and operational systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Website & Intranet Administration
- Manage and maintain the district’s public-facing website and internal intranet platform (e.g., Happeo, Google Sites, or other CMS).
- Ensure website content is current, accurate, and aligned with district branding and accessibility standards.
- Collaborate with school leaders, departments, and communications staff to publish updates, announcements, and key resources.
- Maintain intranet organization, site permissions, and navigation to enhance staff access to internal tools and information.
- Work with vendors or IT staff to troubleshoot and resolve website or intranet performance issues.
- Support staff with intranet training and content updates as needed.
Network Monitoring & Support
- Conduct Tier 1 network monitoring to ensure consistent connectivity across district schools and offices.
- Track and report network outages or performance issues to the Network Engineer or higher-level support.
- Collect site-level incident data prior to escalation ensuring scope, device count, and timing are confirmed before submission.
- Support the PC Support team and Network Team as needed.
Additional Duties
- Assist with technology-related projects as assigned.
- Provide documentation and reports related to website analytics, intranet usage, and network uptime.
- Participate in technology planning meetings and contribute to process improvements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Technology.
