About Us:

Haxtun Health isn't just a hospital; it's a cornerstone of our community. We're a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, a network of Primary Care Clinics, and a provider of vital long-term, rehabilitation, and specialty care services. As one of the region's largest employers, we're deeply invested in the well-being of our community. And we're growing! We recently opened a state-of-the-art 10,000 square foot facility to enhance our Family Practice Clinic, Wellness and Rehabilitation, and Retail Pharmacy services.

Your Mission:

As our CEO, you'll be the driving force behind our mission to deliver compassionate, high-quality care. You'll:

  • Lead with Vision: Oversee all hospital operations, ensuring seamless, efficient, and patient-centered care.
  • Build Community Bridges: Foster strong, trusting relationships with our community, understanding and addressing their healthcare needs.
  • Drive Strategic Growth: Develop and implement plans that ensure our long-term viability and prosperity.
  • Champion Quality: Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and continuously improve our healthcare services.
  • Empower Our Team: Lead and mentor our dedicated staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Financial Stewardship: Manage the district’s finances, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability.

What You Bring:

  • A Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a CEO or COO in a healthcare setting.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
  • A passion for rural healthcare and community engagement.
  • A strong understanding of Critical Access Hospital operations (preferred).
  • FACHE Fellowship (Preferred)

BENEFITS:

  • Health Insurance:
    • Haxtun Health pays 100% of the health insurance benefits premiums for the Aetna Silver plan, including employee, spouse, children, or family, as applicable.
    • Haxtun Health also pays a large portion of the premiums for the upgraded Aetna Gold plan selection.
  • Dental and Vision Insurance:
    • Haxtun Health pays 100% of the premiums, including spouse, children, or family, as applicable.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO):
    • 35 days per annual term, which includes holidays.
  • Sick Leave:
    • Up to 48 hours per year.
  • Retirement Plan:
    • Retirement Plan with up to a 3% employer match, which increases with your length of service.
    • New employees are automatically enrolled at a 2% contribution rate (can be opted out).
    • Employees must complete 5 years of employment to be 100% vested.
  • Employee Health Payment Match:
    • Haxtun Health matches employee payments up to $1,000 per year per family for services received at Haxtun Health’s hospital or clinics.
  • Family and Medical Leave Insurance Program (FAMLI):
    • Haxtun Health participates in the CO FAMLI program, which is a social insurance program that provides up to 12 weeks of paid leave for qualifying life events.
  • Term Life Insurance:
    • 1 x annual salary term life provided by HH, no employee premium ($200,000 Max.).
    • Additional voluntary life insurance coverage for the employee and family is an option which can be purchased by the employee.
  • Professional Development:
    • Reimbursement for Professional Development: not to exceed $5,000/year, plus 5 days additional paid per year to attend professional development courses or conferences.
  • Other Benefits:
    • Employee Purchasing Program: Designed for employees to purchase items at wholesale cost.
