  • Starting Pay Range: $17.45-$22.69, depending on experience
  • Position Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt
  • Shift Differentials: Nights = +10% of base wage (after 6pm), Weekends = +15% of base wage

Haxtun Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Assistant II to join our team!

Shift: This is a full-time position working four 10-hour shifts per week, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. On-call coverage is required one week per month.

Job Summary:

As a Maintenance Assistant II, you will perform skilled maintenance, repair, and minor construction on hospital properties, vehicles, and equipment, working semi-independently in trades such as locksmith and masonry. You will be responsible for a variety of skilled work in maintaining and repairing hospital facilities and equipment, performing ground maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety practices and applicable codes. This includes proactive inspections, safety tests, operating and maintaining equipment, and managing facility grounds.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Three (3) years journey-level experience in one or more trades areas required or specialized training and/or certification
    • Valid Driver’s License
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in healthcare facility maintenance and plant operations preferred

  • Family and Medical Leave Insurance Program (FAMLI): Haxtun Health participates in the CO FAMLI program, which is a social insurance program that provides up to 12 weeks of paid leave for qualifying life events.
  • Term Life Insurance: 1 x annual salary term life provided by HHD, no employee premium ($200,000 Max.). Additional voluntary life insurance coverage for the employee and family is an option which can be purchased by the employee.
