  1. A positive working relationship with patients, visitors, and facility staff is demonstrated. Respectful to managers and supervisors.
  1. Organizational ability and time management is demonstrated. 
  1. Produces deliverable products on time, within budget with minimal direction.
  1. Reviews patient medical history at every visit.
  2. Examines diagnoses and treats oral disease including prescribing medication as needed.
  3. Performs oral treatments including root canals, extractions, and designs and fixes prosthetics, appliances, bridges, dentures, and space maintainers.
  4. Treat teeth malformations, gum injuries, and other oral abnormalities.
  5. Uses dental instruments safely
  6. Operate x-ray and diagnostic equipment effectively
  7. Charts and reports to the patient all pathologic conditions
  8. Develops a written treatment plan and explains all options to the patient.
  9. Charts and signs all treatment provided.
  10. Refers patients to appropriate specialists when needed
  11. Educate patients on preventive dental and oral health care.
  12. Applies sealants to teeth
  13. Follows standard dentistry procedures
  14. Stay up to date on dental techniques.
  15. Ensure that work area is maintained in a safe and clean manner.

Qualifications

  1. Necessary education for Dentist license.
  2. Current Dentist license for state of California
  3. CE requirements met
  4. Current CPR certification.
  5. Able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
  6. Is dependable, reliable with good attendance and the ability to work with others, at all levels within the organization, and collaborate effectively.
  7. Above-average interpersonal, problem-solving, written, and oral communication skills.
