Exciting Leadership Opportunity - Statewide Director of Psychiatry - Nashville, Tennessee

Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of comprehensive health care services to the Tennessee Department of Correction.

We are current seeking an experienced, full-time Psychiatrist to join our team as a Statewide Director of Psychiatry.  This position is based out of our Tennessee Regional Office located in Nashville, Tennessee. 

The Statewide Director of Psychiatry provides the clinical direction needed to meet the behavioral health and psychiatric service delivery requirements of a specific contract in collaboration with the Program Manager/Vice President of Operations (VPO). The Statewide Director of Psychiatry supervises psychiatric staff and collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams in providing services to patients with psychiatric disorders in a correctional setting.

• MD or DO
• Board certification in Psychiatry required
• Active, unrestricted TN medical license or ability to obtain
• Active, unrestricted DEA
• Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience
• Correctional healthcare experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to pass background screening, drug test and credentialing

Available Shift

• Monday - Friday
• Day shift
• No nights, holidays or weekends
