- High school diploma or GED equivalent requiredÂ
- Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or six (6) months of experience as a Dental Assistant requiredÂ
- Dental Assistant license or ability to obtain one required
- Certification as an expanded duty dental assistant preferred; if the candidate does not possess a current certificate, one must be obtained in the first year of employmentÂ
- Certification and/or previous experience performing dental x-rays preferredÂ
- Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
