Regional Director of Nursing - North IL

Annual Salary $125,000 + (depending on years of experience)

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.  We are currently seeking a full-time Regional Director of Nursing to support the Northern Region of Illinois.

Based out of the Illinois Regional Office, the Regional Director of Nursing provides clinical, educational and professional supervision for site directors of nursing and support staff. The Regional DON works under the direction of the Program Manager/VPO and collaborates with medical leadership and other members of the multidisciplinary team in the correctional environment to improve healthcare of incarcerated patients.  This position requires extensive travel within the region and occasional travel within the state of Illinois.

Job Qualifications:

• BSN Required, Master’s Degree preferred
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
• Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Corrections, forensic or criminal justice experience preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
