The Financial Analyst is integral to the Autism Society of North Carolina’s (ASNC’s) expense cycle management and FP&A function supporting both strategic and day-to-day financial needs. This position supports strategic decision making through financial reporting and collaborating with internal teams. The Financial Analyst also acts as the lead between ASNC and its numerous vendors and suppliers in maintaining accuracy and timeliness of all payments.Â

Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Process transactions and generate financial reports for private pay programs.Â
- Administer internal financial aid program for private pay programs adhering to grant specifications. Â
- Handle, count, and prepare cash and check deposits.Â
- Support the annual budgeting process.Â
- Assist with month-end close variance analysis and other finance tasks.Â
- Ensure compliance of proper signatures and coding relating to weekly invoices, purchase orders, and credit card reconciliations.Â
- Prepare weekly accounts payable reports for approval by CFO.Â
- Process weekly check run, and upload the Positive Pay file to the bank.Â
- Set up new vendors in the Net Suite database and maintain security and integrity of AP Vendor file/database. Â
- Manage credit card workflow and approval process for monthly credit card processes. Serve as the point of contact for the organization for all credit card issues, coding, and processing.Â
- Responsible for the monthly ACH bank draft journal, and monthly coding and reconciliation of the Accounts Payable credit card statement. Â
- Follow up on checks outstanding over 90 days.Â
- Reconcile AP sub-ledger/aging to general ledger.Â
- Timely preparation and completion of 1099s annually.Â
- Assume monthly payment processing/accounting/JEs for various service providers.Â
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Finance Manager and/or CFO and in support of the mission.Â

Location, Travel, and Schedule Â
The position is located in the Raleigh State Office. Workflow will occasionally require work hours in excess of 40 hours per week.Â
