Position Overview:
We are seeking a App Developer to lead the continued development and modernization of our Yard Management System (YMS). This role will focus on enhancing existing FileMaker-based applications while driving the transition of the YMS into a scalable, web-based SaaS platform built with Next.js. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding integrations with third-party systems and supporting the deployment of the solution across multiple locations and states.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance existing FileMaker applications with new features and functionality.
- Lead efforts to architect, design, and develop a Next.js-based SaaS version of the Yard Management System.
- Build and support system integrations with logistics, ERP, and third-party applications through APIs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance of the YMS as it expands to new sites and customers.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code across FileMaker and Next.js environments.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
- Contribute to long-term technology planning, helping guide the transition strategy from FileMaker to web SaaS.
