Essential Duties:
- Premium Coordination: Under the direct supervision of the EHIP Sr Program Manager, coordinate the timely and accurate payment of all insurance premiums. Coordinate with EHIP Program staff to ensure proper communication, planning, and preparation of payments and processes related to insurance premium payments. Maintain and update accurate information related to premium payments using tools and resources available including client databases.
- Check Printing: Oversee, manage, and coordinate the weekly, monthly, and quarterly check printing process. Review check requests, conduct audit sample of check request, authorize printing, and distribute check stock. Maintain adequate fiscal controls of payments and check stock. Ensure timely payment of insurance premiums. Maintain adequate cash reserves, monitor and track invoices and payments to and from department of health. Verify eligibility of every payment prior to releasing.
- Communication: Maintain effective, timely, and thorough communication in all direction to ensure co-workers, partners, community stakeholders, clients, funders, and management are well-informed and knowledgeable of the status of the client issues and any program and related issues or projects. Keep clients and case managers apprised of adjustments and changes in the program.
- Client Service/Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality service delivery in a culturally appropriate manner by maintaining quality and customer service standards and expectations. Work with vendors and clients to respond to complaints, enquiries, and questions. Maintain secure and confidential client information
- Technical knowledge: Serve as a technical resource on matters related to COBRA regulations, Washington state insurance laws and regulations, Medicare, Medicaid, insurance plans, the insurance marketplace, the Affordable Care Act, and state-funded insurance programs. Be an expert on matters related to ADAP, insurance enrollment, and EIP enrollment. Assist clients and case managers to determine appropriate insurance.
- Research and Analysis: Engage critical thinking skills to conduct thorough and comprehensive analysis and research. Analyze data and information to ensure correct, thorough, and appropriate action is taken to respond to client application and/or vendor accounts. Conduct thorough research and complete investigations in matters related to fiscal and financial anomalies in the program.
- Program Coordination: Maintain and track data and reports pertaining to insurance program as directed. Process reports and data requests from Program Management and/or DOH. Ensure complete and accurate case notes in client database. Monitor and order office supplies. Oversee and facilitate all incoming and outgoing mail. Process insurance verification from carriers and vendors.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or combination of related education and work experience.
- Three or more years of relevant experience.
- Able to organize and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
- Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Experience with project planning, implementation and evaluation.
- Possess an understanding of professional boundaries.
- Demonstrated skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications, including Excel, Access, and Word.
- Experience working with Dynamics or similar accounting software.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both verbal and written form.
- Professional phone skills.
- Comfort with public speaking and public outreach.
- Proven ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with group facilitation, conflict resolution and a working knowledge of organizational development issues.
- Ability to respond quickly to change.
- Ability to develop good working relationships with internal and external customers.
Work Environment:
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under stressful conditions.
- Ability to lift 25lbs on occasion.
- The position is full-time (40 hours/week) working on-site at the Georgetown location, but there will be opportunities to work remotely on occasion.
