Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership and Team Management:
- In partnership with the Vice President of External Relations, develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that aligns with the organization’s mission, vision, and strategic goals and drives increased contributed income
- Identify and secure funding opportunities across individual giving, direct response, major gifts, legacy giving, grants, corporate giving and sponsorships, and special events.
- Analyze market fundraising trends and pivot strategies accordingly to maximize revenue generation.
- Contributed Revenue Growth and Donor Cultivation (Major, Individual Giving, and Corporate)
- Support the CEO in managing a portfolio of major donors and assisting with their cultivation and stewardship activities
- Develop and implement a major donor strategy, including launching campaign-specific opportunities and managing personalized cultivation and stewardship strategies to identify new prospects and cultivate current donors
- Drive efforts to successfully acquire, retain, and reactivate individual donors, which includes partnering with marketing and communications to execute campaigns across direct mail, social, paid, and digital/e-mail
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a personal portfolio of current and potential donors, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
- Collaborate with external relations team (special events, marketing, communications) to develop and implement a robust corporate giving/sponsorship strategy
- Establish and staff a mid-level giving program to strengthen the major donor pipeline
- Financial Analysis and Market Collaboration
- Generate regular reports for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and CEO to track progress of fundraising goals and revenue projections

- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing a team.
- Proficiency in using fundraising software, donor databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, board members, and other stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for Lifelong's mission and a commitment to ethical fundraising practices.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred (Master's degree is a plus), or combination of related education and work experience
- CFRE certification, or willingness to achieve, is highly desired
- Minimum of seven years of proven experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a track record of securing six and seven figure major gifts and grants.
- Proficiency in using fundraising software, donor databased (Salesforce), and Microsoft Office Suite

Work Environment:
- This position operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. The role requires regular interaction with colleagues, leadership, and external stakeholders. The position may involve occasional evening or weekend work to support organizational activities or events, as well as limited travel as needed.
