1. Assisting field staff in meeting the qualifications to deliver quality care to the clients.
2. Assisting in staff education including orientation, proficiency check-offs, and annual education programs as assigned by the upper management.
3. Supervises and exhibits leadership capabilities and provides guidance and instruction to personal support staff as needed.
4. Monitors field staff performance to assure adherence to insurance and state regulations.
5. Performs client admissions timely and accurately, as required. Solicits necessary client specific information to support the client’s admission to the agency as set forth by PSSA regulations.
6. Performs supervisory visits to client’s homes in a timely manner and submits related documentation timely. Visits will not exceed once per month nor be less than once per quarter.
7. Uses initiative and self-direction to schedule admissions and supervisory visits the day prior.
8. Reports negative comments, complaints, concerns/issues discovered during home visits, to upper management in a timely manner.
9. Assists in the investigation of critical incidents as directed by upper management and documents findings in a timely manner.
10. Assists in providing disciplinary action to field employees as needed and directed from upper management.
11. Submits records and reports timely as required by administration. Submits paperwork that is neat, legible, and written in dark colored ink or electronically, as required.
12. Perform field staff performance/competency evaluations within 30 days of employment and at least yearly thereafter.
13. Acknowledges and follows policies and procedures, as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
14. Records time worked accurately and using the approved method.
15. Willingness to travel to client homes.
16. Availability: Always on time and follows rules concerning attendance. Provides advance notice of absences or tardiness. Does not abuse time off practices.
17. Adherence to Policy: Always follows rules, procedures, and regulations. Completes and submits all paperwork on time.
18. Dependability: Can be relied on to complete responsibilities of the job.
19. Honesty: Always truthful and always completes agency documentation accurately.
20. Independence: Accomplishes work with little or no supervision and asks questions when in doubt.

27. Special Projects and Overtime: Participates willingly when requested.
28. In-services and/or seminars: Attends and/or conducts job related training and education in as requested or assigned.
29. Confidentiality: Maintains confidentiality of information related to business practices, business activities, client information and personnel information, including adherence to HIPAA and other privacy standards.
30. Safety: Safely utilizes cell phones and/or other communication devices while fulfilling job duties in the field, for business purposes only, while adhering to federal and state traffic and transportation regulations.
31. Ensures agency compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations related to the delivery of Personal Support Services and makes available reports as needed.
32. Compliance: Understands and complies with laws, regulations, rules and policies. If unsure an action is permitted, seeks advice from supervisor. Accepts personal responsibility for preventing violations and speaking up if possible violations are identified.
33. Other duties may be assigned, as warranted by the job.
