What you'll do:
As the Account Manager-Wine, you will be responsible for driving new wine label sales for Fortis Solutions Group within the Napa Valley territory. You will be expected to identify prospects, meet with prospects at their locations, and generate opportunities to quote on the business of prospects, with the intent of securing new business.Â
Qualified candidates will reside within the Napa Valley area and have at least two years of prior experience within the wine industry. As an ideal candidate, you should also possess solid prospecting and networking skills and the ability to develop life-long customer relationships. Additional training will be provided to learn our wine label products and printing processes, as needed. We're looking for outgoing, motivated and driven individuals with a customer-first mentality and a proven ability to win new business!
This is an "early career" position that offers a base salary plus uncapped, tiered commission* on all sales, resulting in a total compensation ranging from $90,000 to $150,000 or more, annually, based on individual sales results (All NAD's are assigned and responsible for achieving personal sales quotas. This position is remote however, you will be required to be onsite in our Napa facility, at least 2 days per week, until fully trained (6-8 months). Regular, local travel will be required.
As the Account Manager-Wine, you will be responsible for managing existing business relationships and driving new business growth for Fortis Solutions Group. You will be expected to identify prospects, meet with prospects onsite at their locations, and generate opportunities to quote on the business of prospects. You will be expected to secure new business to exceed sales goals. Additionally, you will drive growth within current customer accounts. As the Account Manager-Wine, you will work in coordination with the company’s management team and customer experience representatives and utilize the company provided CRM tool to manage all sales related activities, including opportunities, customer visits, and estimates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Achieve annual new business sales goals.
- Achieve annual existing/current customer sales goals.
- Identify strategic potential new business sales opportunities within the assigned territory and introduce the Company to these opportunities. Utilize various tools including personal knowledge, networking, and company marketing resources to generate new leads that drive sales growth.
- Employ creative and fresh techniques to secure onsite meetings with new business decision makers.
- Generate new business sales through onsite qualification of customer needs, providing detailed product information and pricing estimates, and communication of the Company’s value proposition.
- Utilize Salesforce.com software to report new business contacts, opportunities, track activities (onsite visits, estimates, sample testing etc.), and provide accurate prospect and sales volume data. Maintain up to date and organized records.
- Develop marketing and sales plans for new business growth.
- Develop generic and specific customer presentations and proposals for new business opportunities, building on existing Fortis Solutions Group presentations.
- Actively participate in and lead appropriate Company sales meetings, including sharing presentations, success stories and challenges for the learning, development, and shared success of all.
- Supply won/loss data with reasons for all estimates.
- Troubleshoot problems regarding customer products and handle complaints if necessary.
- Keep informed of industry changes, new products, services, and other items of interest to customers.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and events as necessary.
- Travel as required to develop new business opportunities within assigned territory.
- Additional duties as required.
