Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- HS (GED) required. Associates degree preferred in graphic design or related field.
- At least 2 years of related work experience.
- Understanding of flexographic printing requirements such as imposition, distortion, and trapping of files.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Expert proficiency with Adobe Illustrator.
- Experience with/knowledge of Esko Color Preflight.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Excel and Outlook)
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, with ability to multi-task and prioritize competing requests to ensure deadlines are met.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Expert level proofreading skills.
- Able to manage workload in a fast paced, demanding environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Training Requirements:
- Willing to attend required training courses or sessions related to the job as assigned.
Physical Demands:
- General office related physical requirements:
- Type and manipulate a computer mouse / keyboard
- Sitting for long periods of time
- Occasional walking or light lifting around the office.
- Pass a pre-employment drug test and subject to random drug screening.
Work Environment:
- Regular exposure to dust and noise in the production environment.
- Warehouse environment temperatures may be influenced by outside temperatures.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Safety shoes and eye protection are highly recommended in the production area.
