QUALIFICATIONS:
• RT (R) (CT) required within one year of employment
• 3-6 months general x-ray experience preferred.
• 6-12 months CT experience preferred.
• IV and power contrast injector experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of basic radiologic principles, procedures, methods and techniques required.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology required.
• Excellent patient care, problem solving, organizational, communication and technical skills required.
• Ability to work independently, in a team, and with all levels of the organization required.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative required.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety-related work behaviors to ensure a safe work environment.
• Competent in using a computer keyboard, email, Imagecast and PACS or similar applications.

DAILY PHYSICAL DEMANDS REQUIRED FOR PERFORMING ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
OF THE JOB:
Requires a moderate amount of sitting, standing, walking, reaching, gripping, twisting, turning and repetitive motion; some bending, kneeling, squatting, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, telephone and other office equipment. Ability to assist patients to walk, sit, stand and move to and from the exam table, wheelchair and/or Hoyer lift.

• High-Potential exposure to communicable diseases, blood products, bodily fluids and/or hazardous materials common to a radiology setting.
• High-Potential exposure to ionizing radiation exams rooms and/or involved in the use of ionizing radiation common to a radiology setting.
