Are you someone with an eye for detail and thrives in a fast-paced environment? The Assistant Buyer supports the Lead Buyer by entering product information, pricing, scheduling incoming/receiving freight, and communicating with product vendors.Â
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inventory – create SKUs, post and acknowledge purchase orders, update ETAs, data entry, update price lists
Retail Price and Information Tags – print tags, create and update point of purchase materials
Custom Orders – process and enter customer custom orders with exceptional accuracy
Vendor Relations – establish and maintain rapport with vendor representatives, follow up on purchase orders, resolve invoice discrepancies, damages, and returns
Customer Service – support Customer Service, Sales Staff, and Sales Managers with vendor shipping status, product availability, and product information
